There are so many stars out there, so many planets and comets and asteroids and moons and rocks and things we probably don’t even know exist yet. Thousands of people spend their whole lives pondering these mysteries, staring up at the vast universe through a minuscule telescope and trying not to lose themselves in the midst of such infinity.
Milky Way is not one of these. To him, the galaxies hold no appeal. The stars are just rocks, just light; the planets are just rings and bare minerals. They have no mystery, no allure. Perhaps it is because he grew up on the far reaches of the galaxy. Perhaps it is because he spent his younger days playing hide and seek among the stars. Perhaps it is because he dislikes the endless stretches of darkness and pure nothing. Or, perhaps - and more likely - it is because he finds that the earth holds more secrets than the furthest planet. For where else in the universe do lovers break up one day and make up the next, or do dogs lay down their lives for their masters, or do children run and laugh with abandon, or do people make such strange wonderful music and art? It is these mysteries that entice him. For he knows that he holds infinity right here in his paw, and he has no need to turn his mind to the skies. Bio by Tar #1249086
