Nixie is actually a baby Starfish pup! Her tiny limbs and big head make her look super adorable. She's owned by a little girl who saved her from a puddle on the beach. She is now loved and cared for and fed delicious Starfish pup safe lollipops daily.

Nixie has a sweet tooth, though that may be an understatement. Fruit pastilles, white chocolate bars, honey, soda, her favorite lollipops - all of these (Starfish pup safe, of course) she devours eagerly. And if she has none left, the pathetically cute begging look on her face guarantees that she will be given more candy by any passers-by.
But apart from that little flaw, if it may even be called that, she is perhaps one of the best companions that someone may have. She is able to instinctively sense if someone is feeling sad. Even if they keep silent - or perhaps because they keep silent - she will know it, and she will snuggle up next to them. And she will nuzzle them fondly, kissing them in the face over and over again. Often, her mere presence is enough to put a smile on anyone’s face. She cares little for who someone is, or what they are like. She bounces around equally happily at the heels of the old grumpy lady down the road, or the little boy who cannot speak. She understands little of rank or station, and sees little difference between each person. And she never deigns anyone unworthy of her slobbery kisses. Perhaps that is why the lonely and the rejected all seek her out. And she always knows how to make someone’s day. With the old lady who has arthritis and a bad knee, Nixie sits on her lap comfortably, nudging her for belly-rubs. With the rowdy boys and girls, she toddles about, chasing after sticks and balls and lollipops. With her fellow pups, she swims happily in the sea, playing games of tag. She is always able to give someone the best afternoon of their lives. Perhaps all of this explains her curious love for lollipops. Maybe she has such a great fondness for sweet things, because she is the sweetest of them all. Starfish pups are a closed species by Kiboku
